Fluent Russian language

Get fluent in Russian

Learning Russian as any foreign language will take time, but la few strategies given by your Russian tutor will help you expand your knowledge quickly and easily. During your Russian course with RusWords professional Russian tutors will provide you with all the information and support necessary for successful language learning within short period of time. Below are the most important hints to help you.

Move on at your own pace
Don't try to do everything at once. You will progress more efficiently if you study little and more often, rather than trying to cover large piece of material in one go. Especially if you are learning Russian yourself.

Listen to Audio recordings and Revise often
Don't expect to understand and remember everything the first time you come across new vocabulary or grammar. Listen to audio as many times as you need before moving to a new one or looking into a transcript. Go back from time to time and listen to dialogues from previous units and periodically trying again some activities or grammar exercises which you have already done before.

Study with someone else
If you have another person to learn with it will make a big difference as you can play role games and test each other. As a result both of you will dramatically improve your speaking ability just by talking to each other in Russian and correcting each others mistakes.

Speak aloud as often as you can!
If you do not have an opportunity to speak Russian to somebody else talk to yourself. Speaking aloud is completely different from speaking inside your head! Recording your voice is also helpful.

Start your own dictionary
Make your own dictionary to help you to memorise and review useful vocabulary. The best way is to divide it into a few most common sections like food, family, transport, etc. Test yourself from time to time by covering one of the columns. When you get to Intermediate level you will need a Russian dictionary to improve you vocabulary.

Don't worry, enjoy the lessons!
You will probably need to work through the materials of your Russian course several times before you can move to the next unit, but don't worry to much. Especially if you're learning Russian yourself without tutor's or teacher's help. If you have particular difficulty with certain areas, leave them for a while and get back to them later. You may find things much easier in a few weeks time and will be surprised that everything will fall into place easily.

Private Russian lessons with expert tutors certainly enable you to become fluent in Russian faster than in a traditional classroom environment or when you are learning Russian yourself but don't give up. Just keep going and soon you will see the results!
