A good Russian tutor must also be fluent in English. You might come across many Russian tutors who will speak broken English and offer you cheap and bad quality tuition. Think twice! Even though sometimes it seems as a real bargain most often high price corresponds with high quality. Professional tutors with good reputation are always in demand and never offer bargains. Needless to say how many student pay little money and bitterly regret their decision later when they still fail to speak the language after years of studying it in a group environment or with bad tutor.
