RusWords Russian Language Tutor Mrs Natalia Roberts
Professional Experience & Credentials
I am a native Russian-speaker and have studied Russian Language, Russian Literature and Linguistics in top Moscow Universities. I graduated from Moscow State Linguistic University in 2002 and have been teaching Russian language since then. Living in the UK for several years helped me to develop a system which enables me to teach Russian to English speaking students most efficiently. While having private Russian lessons with me as your Russian Tutor you will effortlessly widen your horizons by getting the knowledge about rich and unique Russian culture. I will be delighted to help you on your journey to become fluent in Russian.
I am also fluent in English and passed Cambridge Exam for Proficiency in English (CPE) which is the most comprehensive exam in English language for non-native speakers. Only few Russian tutors can demonstrate such good knowledge of English, so you can be reassured that will enjoy every minute of our Russian lessons feeling completely comfortable with your Russian tutor even if you are just a beginner.
Teaching Experience - Private Russian Language Tuition
I have over several years of experience in Russian tuition to English speakers and have taught a wide range of students of all age groups from absolute beginner to advanced levels. My students come from a wide range of backgrounds and professions including brokers, corporate executives, school and university students.
Teaching Experience - Corporate Business Russian Courses
I am happy to design and teach Business-Russian courses to companies in London. The course will be tailored to meet your individual needs and can be intensive if required.
During the initial consultation I identify the student's level of Russian and motivation to learn it. That enables me to tailor the lessons to meet your needs and make them interesting.
During the course new vocabulary is given using communicative methods and up-to-date real life dialogues with strong emphasis on speaking and listening. I prefer to teach Russian grammar without overemphasising it or forcing the pace. All the texts, dialogues and exercises use real, everyday contemporary language without rare expressions.
I always give homework to the students at the end of the lesson to practice everything that was done during the class. If you are serious about learning Russian doing homework on a regular basis significantly increases the speed of your progress.
However, learning Russian is also fun! Though Russian language is a challenge and does require an effort from the student, it is still a very enjoyable and rewarding experience. It is a start on your journey to explore a unique and full of surprises Russian Culture.
